Travel Team Program

 

TRAVEL TEAMS-The HRYBL has had travel teams for many years that have played throughout the area. Tryouts for the travel teams will be held  on Sunday 10/18 and Sunday 10/25 at ACES on Skiff Street. The tryout schedule is as follows: Boys 9 & 10 at 12:00, Boys 11 & 12 at 1:00 PM, Girls 13 & under at 2:00 PM, Boys 13 & under at 3:00 PM. An additional cost of approximately $150 per player is required for travel games and tournaments. Payment is due upon notification the player has made the team.

Travel teams formed if there is sufficient interest and a suitable coach. 

To participate on a travel team players must be registered in the HRYBL and playing regularly on a HRYBL team.  (Players may also play for school teams.)

Travel teams practice once a week for an hour and the games are almost always on Sundays.  The practices traditionally have been held week nights from 8:30 to 9:30.  However, we always try to accommodate the younger teams with earlier times where possible.

Travel teams play in tournaments both during and after the regular League season.  There are also additional practices and games that are scheduled so as not to interfere with the regular League schedule.
